Thanks to the support of hundreds of crowdfunders, the 24 track, two disc benefit compilation, Buy This Fracking Album is being released today!
The album has raised over $60,000, surpassing its goal on the crowd-funding site Pledge Music. All proceeds will go toward Marcellus Protest, a non profit organization in Pennsylvania, and other grassroots organizations around the country working to ban fracking.
Buy This Fracking Album is a compilation record put out by Food & Water Watch and Movement Music Records to help educate the public about the dangers associated with fracking and the ways it destroys our water, our communities, and our planet. 22 artists have contributed tracks to the record, including:
